4th Quarter Seasonal Strength Is Persistent...
Over the last 25 years (i.e., 1989-2013), the S&P 500 has gained an average of +5.1% in the final 3 months of the year, i.e., October-November-December.
Nearly 50% of the S&P 500’s total return achieved over the last 25 years (i.e., 1989-2013) has been produced in the final 3 months of the year.
